Graduated DePauw University (Bachelor of Music). Played in National Symphony of Colombia (Bogota). Got a Master of Music at University of North Texas. Played in National Symphony of the Dominican Republic (Sto. Domingo). Got a Doctor of Music Arts at University of South Carolina. Taught eigth years at Universiiyt of North Carolina Wilmington. Now at Presbyterian College, tenured, full professor now 16th year. It has been a lot of fun! Grateful for the encouragement of Les Gilkey, my orchestra teacher at Waukegan High School - he lived to be over 100 years old!

I can't tell you my favorite stories because I partied way too much and sometimes got into some trouble - but it was fun. LOL...

I was friends with Dave Grana. I learned of his death some years ago and was deeply saddened. He was a lot of fun. We hung out a lot, especially during Senior Year. I remember the lat time I saw him - it was at his house when he showed me his newborn child. Good guy. Really wish he was still around. I always wondered how he died? R.I.P. Dave, you are still missed.
